How soxes turned social media into a consistent marketing channel

For years, soxes knew they needed to be more visible on social media, but a lean marketing team made consistency difficult. With Storykit, that changed. Today, soxes create content faster, publishes more regularly, reaches larger audiences, and has grown its presence on LinkedIn.

“The biggest need was speed, and that’s what Storykit really delivers.”

soxes is a Swiss software engineering company that transforms complex business needs into custom software solutions. Unlike vendors of standard software, soxes designs and builds software around each organization’s business – not the other way around.

Through tailor-made software, the company helps organizations strengthen their unique value proposition, modernize legacy systems, develop AI-powered applications, and innovate with confidence.

The Challenge

As Head of Marketing at soxes, Sandra is responsible for making sure potential customers know who soxes is and what they do.

The challenge was visibility, time – and consistency.

“We weren’t very present in social media, to be honest,” Sandra says.

As a lean marketing team supporting a growing custom software development company, creating enough content for LinkedIn and other channels often fell down the priority list. The team occasionally created videos using CapCut, but content production was largely manual and difficult to scale.

At the same time, Sandra knew that showing up consistently on social media had become essential.

“I knew you have to do it regularly or you might as well leave it,” she says.

For a lean marketing team, that created a problem. There were plenty of ideas and content opportunities, but not enough time to turn them into engaging social media content.

The team needed a way to create professional content faster without adding more complexity to the workflow.

The Solution

soxes adopted Storykit to simplify content creation and make regular social media publishing possible.

Most often, Sandra starts with existing content, such as articles published on the company website, and turns them into videos. The workflow combines AI assistance with human editing: Sandra typically lets Storykit generate a first version and then refines the result herself.

“Usually I use AI and then do edits,” she says. “That’s one big advantage of Storykit.”

For Sandra, the difference compared to other AI tools is the level of control.

“If I do a video in ChatGPT, it’s like a black box. You get something and then it’s done,” she says. “Here you get a result and then you can tweak it.”

Storykit has also made it easier to repurpose content across multiple channels.

“What makes Storykit really helpful is that you have one video and can use it in different formats,” Sandra says.

Using publishing tools alongside Storykit, the team can distribute content across LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and other channels from a single piece of content.

The result is more visibility without significantly increasing workload.

The Results

The biggest impact has been consistency. Before Storykit, video content was occasional. Today, it has become a regular part of soxes’ marketing activity.

“It’s the fastest tool I’ve found,” Sandra says.

While exact production numbers vary, Sandra estimates that video output has at least doubled since implementing Storykit.

“At least double the output, probably more.”

That increase has translated into greater visibility.

On LinkedIn, Sandra has grown her personal audience by regularly publishing video content.

“I noticed something I’ve always believed: people like to see nice things,” she says. “If you have a very nice video, people will watch it because they like it.”

Sandra has seen the same effect on the company LinkedIn page.

“We also have more followers and more people viewing us,” Sandra says.

More importantly, the increased visibility has started creating real business value.

“What I noticed is that people remember you,” Sandra says. “Then suddenly they need a piece of software and contact us.”

The company has also seen an unexpected benefit on the recruitment side.

“We recently hired someone who saw us on LinkedIn and remembered soxes.”

For Sandra, that’s the real purpose of marketing.

“Visibility is important,” she says. “But it’s not just important to be visible; it’s important to be visible in a professional manner with nice videos.”

That presence helps shape how potential customers and candidates perceive the company.

“People think of soxes as a cool, professional company because of what they see.”

Looking Ahead

soxes continues to expand its use of Storykit.

The team is exploring carousel content, experimenting with new formats, and finding additional ways to turn existing content into engaging social media assets.

Sandra particularly values having everything in one place.

“You have translation, transcripts, all your assets, and you can organize them well,” she says. “You don’t actually need another tool.”

For a small marketing team with ambitious visibility goals, that’s exactly what matters most: less time spent managing tools and more time spent getting content in front of the right audience.

And ultimately, that’s what made the difference.

“The biggest need was speed,” Sandra says. “And that’s what Storykit delivers.”
