Use this template if you want to showcase a range of services, products or even insights. Get your audience’s attention by referring to a problem or need they have and then pivoting to present the different solutions you have to address it.
This is a step-by-step guide on how you use this template to write your year in review video script.
This might be something that you have clearly documented on your website already. If not, either start by looking at the most pressing problems your target market has and find ways to connect various solutions you offer to one of those, or start with your solutions and then find a common problem.
If you have in-house images/video clips related to the topic or product, great. If you don’t, use relevant stock media.
This is a really straightforward video to produce. All you need is a heading that summarises what your video is about, a short summary of why this is relevant and then a subheading and short description for each solution you present. If you’ve got a physical product or service and a decent mobile camera don’t shy away from trying to take some photos for this yourself.
Write a title that focuses on the audience’s problem or need, and what you have to offer to address it. If relevant, highlight that the solutions are varying, in price, complexity, or whatever it may be.
Example:
“Energy prices bogging you down? Here are 3 solutions from easy to advanced”
Start by clarifying the relevance of the need to set the scene for your solutions. Keep it concise - a few sentences should be enough. Then segue into an introduction for your solutions.
Example:
“With energy prices on the rise, many households are looking for ways to cut down on energy use… these simple hacks will help you lower your consumption so you don’t have to dread the bill at the end of the month."
Present one solution at a time. For each product/service use a clear heading and then describe how this specific item helps with the need or the want. Keep it to the point but don’t leave out essential information that will help the viewer.
Depending on what you’re showcasing, you can either direct the viewer to the purchase or booking page or a page where they can find out more about these solutions.
