Report Videos
Communicating your goals is great for brand awareness; if you can connect that to a report or summary, you have a solid story. And this is the template to pull that off.
Check it out!
This format is about looking at some of the more long-term goals for the organisation – but in the context of a report or a summary. So you would use “one video per goal” to update the viewer on the progress, why this goal exists, and the key drivers behind achieving it. So this format borders on branding but should be triggered by some kind of report.
This is a step-by-step guide on how you use this template to write your year in review video script.
This is often triggered by a report, so always have a look out for information in a report that aligns with your goals.
Use one or a couple of relevant stock images or video clips for this format.
This is a "desk job" where you probably have all the information ready as soon as you have identified it.
Start this script with an explanatory headline; you need to catch the viewer straight away since this subject can tend to be a bit theoretical.
Example:
“This is how we focus on reaching [Goal]”
“This is how we are working with [Goal]”
“Getting to [Goal] – this is how we do it”
Spend a little time explaining this organisational goal and why it matters to you, your customers, or the world. Then try and pivot into “…and these are how we try and achieve it…”.
Use a smaller text field to communicate your key drivers and the main text field to briefly explain what it's about.
Example:
Small text field: “Replacing all non-renewable energy,”
Main text field: "To achieve [Goal] we have done [X] and are planning to do [Y]"
Add a standard message for the outro, if needed. Or simply end off with your logo.
