In this format, you’ll get the chance to show off your different markets and, at the same time, communicate business knowledge.
This is a step-by-step guide on how you use this template to write your year in review video script.
This story comes from your business and your knowledge of the markets you operate in.
Use a relevant location- or segment-based image/video clip for the headline, another of the person you are interviewing and two market-related images/video clips.
The format is relatively simple and could most likely be done through email or even forms if you have a lot of different markets or segments. Make sure to explain how long you want the answers to be to make script writing as easy as possible.
This is a great place to flex your creative muscles and craft a headline that is fun but to the point. Ensure that the viewer understands what market this video is about – while making the headline pop.
Examples:
“Selling sand in the Sahara – let’s talk about Morocco,”
“The French Connection – why France is a major market”
“London Calling – the challenges in the UK”
Start with a question about the challenges.
Example:
“What’s the number one challenge for [Your Business] in [The Market]?”
This is a straight interview answer from the market representative. Ensure that the answers are rigorous for each question and to the point. You don’t want them to overlap too much.
The next question is about the clients in this market.
Examples:
“Who is the typical client in [The Market]?”
“What are the most common client demands in [The Market]?”
“What do customers want in [The Market]?”
Use the exact answer from the interviewee.
The last question in this format revolves around the general needs of customers in this market – different to the previous one about typical clients.
Examples:
“What are the general needs in [The Market]”
“What’s the most common need in [The Market]?”
“Are there specific needs in [The Market] that are different?”.
Use the last part of the answer from the interviewee.
Include a standard message for the outro, if needed, or just use a standard brand outro graphic or your logo.
