About this template

This is a perfect go-to format for quickly producing more content from what you already have. You can either use it as a trailer to drive traffic to the original content piece or as standalone content that’s fantastic for in-feed engagement.

How to get started

This is a step-by-step guide on how you use this template to write your year in review video script.

Find your story

Take a look at all your existing cases, think about the main value, benefits or USPs you want to communicate about your business, and simply find a quote that aligns with one or more of those. Ideally, the quote should mention your business explicitly for better recognition.

Find your assets

Use an image or video clip of the person being quoted.

Produce it

See this as an opportunity to do a classic repurposing exercise. Make a list of product or service value props, benefits or USPs in a sheet. Copy and paste all relevant quotes or relevant results into each column. Anytime you’re running low on something to post, you’ll have a library of options waiting for you.

The Client Hook Question

Pose a question that creates the right angle for the focus of your micro case. You want the question to stand out and pique the viewer's interest – so make sure it’s detailed.

The Client Hook Question

Client Answer

Present the answer as a quote. Make sure the answer contains:

  • Why they needed your product/service
  • What that product/service is
  • The benefits the client gained from using it

Present the person - name, title, and company. If necessary, you can also add a short description of what the company does for clarification.
