A way to communicate and analyse trends your organisation has identified that are relevant to your business. The point is to communicate that the organisation is thinking about the future.
This is a step-by-step guide on how you use this template to write your year in review video script.
These trends could come from trend reports in the organisation or could be long-term goals.
Use relevant stock images/video clips at a reasonable interval.
Go through focus areas to give a sense of what you’re doing around them.
Craft a headline that clearly discusses what the trend is all about – and perhaps also allude to the impact it will have, or what you are doing to meet it.
Examples:
“The [Trend] puts new demands on accountability in [Organisation]”
“How we are changing all routines due to [Trend],”
“The new possibilities of [Trend] accelerate focus on [Action].”
Give more insight into this trend – the underlying reasons, the developments, or the framework. You want to give your viewer both the “what” and the “why” in concise form.
Use a short sub-headline to create a pivot in the script.
Examples:
“So, this [Trend] – how do we benefit from it?”
“Given this situation – what are we doing?”
“How will the business change because of this [Trend]?”.
This part concerns how your organisation meets the trend – what new avenues open up, what is changing, or what needs to be mitigated. Keep it to the point but ensure that the answer contains some info on actions or potential actions and not only loose theories.
Include a standard message for the outro, if needed, or just use a standard brand outro graphic or your logo.
