5 best AI marketing tools to enhance your marketing efforts

Maximizing marketing efficiency with AI: final thoughts

Using these AI marketing tools daily can make our work easier. They can also help us achieve better results in our campaigns.

“AI is not going to replace my job, the people who can use AI are going to replace my job.”

I’ve read this a dozen times on LinkedIn this week.

I get it. Many marketers feel the pressure to keep up with technology. But sometimes, rushing to adopt AI can make you less efficient.

This is especially true if you don't understand why you're using it. And with so many tools out there, it can be overwhelming and confusing to figure out what you need.

The good news is you don’t need to master every tool—just a few that will help you do your job better. We’re here to share our 5 favorite AI marketing tools that we use daily to stay efficient and ahead of the game.

What is AI used for in marketing?

AI is changing marketing by making it more efficient, precise, and effective. Here are some key ways AI is used in marketing:

  • Content creation: AI tools can produce high-quality content quickly. They create everything from blog posts and social media updates to product descriptions and videos. This allows marketers to maintain a consistent content output without sacrificing quality.
  • SEO optimization: AI-driven platforms look at large amounts of data. They find the best keywords, improve on-page SEO elements, and suggest content changes. This helps in improving search engine rankings and driving organic traffic.
  • Personalization: AI enables hyper-personalized marketing by analyzing customer data and behavior. This allows marketers to deliver tailored messages, product recommendations, and personalized content, enhancing the customer experience and increasing engagement.
  • Ad placement and optimization: AI algorithms look at user data to improve ad placements in real-time. This helps ensure ads reach the right audience at the right time. This maximizes the return on ad spend and improves campaign performance.
  • Predictive analytics: AI models predict customer behavior and trends, helping marketers make data-driven decisions. This includes forecasting sales, identifying potential churn, and understanding customer lifetime value.
  • Chatbots and customer service: AI-powered chatbots provide instant customer support, answering queries, and resolving issues around the clock. This enhances customer satisfaction and frees up human agents for more complex tasks.
  • Email marketing: AI tools analyze subscriber behavior to optimize email marketing campaigns. This includes determining the best time to send emails, personalizing email content, and segmenting audiences for targeted messaging.
  • Market research: AI makes market research easier by analyzing large datasets. It helps find insights about consumer preferences, market trends, and competition. This helps marketers stay ahead of the curve and adapt their strategies accordingly.

AI helps marketers work smarter, not harder. It automates repetitive tasks and provides useful insights. This allows for more personalized and effective marketing strategies.

6 best AI marketing tools to enhance your marketing efforts

As mentioned earlier, AI offers countless possibilities for modern marketing. The key to success lies in finding the tools that work best for you—even if it's just one, used to its fullest potential. I’ve put together a list of 5 AI tools our marketing team uses to help you get started. These tools help us achieve great results, and I will explain how we use them.

1. Storykit (video creation at scale)

On social media, video content performs the best, and if you want to stand out, you need to create a lot of it! We use Storykit to produce on-brand video content at scale using text we already have.

All we have to do is copy our text or paste a link, and the AI transforms it into an engaging text-based video for social media, complete with background assets and everything. Sometimes we make a few tweaks, but the AI gets us 90% of the way there.

We follow a 90-10 content plan on social media, meaning about 90% of our content is repurposed from existing sources like blogs, case studies, interviews, and webinars. The remaining 10% is fresh content inspired by trends, company announcements, or memes.

This approach helps us keep our channels vibrant and engaging without overwhelming our resources.

By putting most of our social content creation on autopilot, we can keep our channels lively and engaging while conserving energy for other areas.

2. Byword (SEO-optimized article creation)

To stand out in SEO, producing more content in specific areas and interlinking it can help Google recognize you as an authority, boosting your rankings. While we have many in-depth articles we ideate and write, there are topics where we just want to provide general knowledge, like those around LinkedIn advertising, for example.

For content explaining what LinkedIn impressions are or how to create a standout LinkedIn business page, we use Byword.

It's an AI batch content creator that lets you input thousands of keywords or titles to quickly generate SEO-optimized articles. Although we usually generate one article at a time, it significantly improves our productivity by providing a well-structured SEO article with the right keywords.

All we have to do is tweak, proofread, and add our personal touch to these articles. This allows us to efficiently expand our content library while focusing on refining and perfecting the final output.

3. ChatGPT (for idea generation, searching topics quickly, quick rewrites)

I’m pretty sure that we have all heard of ChatGPT by now. And honestly, this is one of the biggest tools in my personal toolbox. I use ChatGPT all the time for so many things that just improves my general daily workflow.

When it comes to writing, it's like having a versatile co-author by my side. I rely on it for feedback on paragraphs and to suggest alternative phrasings, making my writing more polished.

For new projects, ChatGPT helps me create structured outlines for email campaigns and brainstorm engaging titles. It’s a powerful tool for idea generation, sparking creativity and helping me explore different angles. It's also incredibly useful as a search engine to quickly find sources and stats to include in my content.

In my opinion, ChatGPT accelerates my workflow by providing quick, valuable feedback that enhances my overall productivity.

4. Grammarly (for content editing)

Nobody likes making mistakes in their writing, and it's always nice to have someone review your message before you click send or publish. Grammarly is the ultimate sidekick for this.

Whether our team is writing emails, social posts on LinkedIn, messages in Slack, or any other content, Grammarly is there to provide sentence alternatives, correct tiny spelling errors, and offer more consistency. No matter which app or platform one of us is using, the Grammarly plugin ensures our writing is polished and professional.

5. Amanda AI (advertising optimization)

Running Google ad campaigns is crucial for capturing demand from people searching for solutions like ours. Since we're investing money into these campaigns, we want to ensure we're targeting the right keywords and getting the best CPC. This requires constant adjustment of ad copy and keyword checking, which can be time-consuming and energy-draining.

That's where Amanda AI comes in. This AI tool optimizes our Google ad campaigns for us. Instead of manually managing the process, Amanda AI takes in signals and performs all the tasks we typically do manually.

It optimizes ad copy, distributes the budget, conducts keyword research, and continuously updates for the best results. With up to 5 million optimizations a day and working 24/7, Amanda AI far surpasses the efficiency of spending a few hours a week on manual adjustments.

6. HubSpot Campaign Assistant (copy generator)

HubSpot Campaign Assistant kickstarts your creative juices and boosts productivity by generating copy for most relevant marketing channels—be it emails, landing pages, or Google Search, LinkedIn, and Facebook ads.

The platform is dead easy to work with. All we need to do is simply select our desired marketing channels, type in a few details about our campaign and target audience, and HubSpot takes it from there. We can also pick between various pre-defined writing styles to make the generated copy feel on-brand.

Of course, the generated output still needs a slight human touch, but I found HubSpot Campaign Assistant super handy to generate cross-channel copy at scale and eliminate that pesky writer’s block.
